Welcome! Thanks for taking the time to visit the site. To kick things off, I feel like it might be best to introduce who I am, what my vision for ult orb is, and who is along for the ride.
I’m Jeno. I also go by the alias jenopelle and write for VLR. I have a degree in journalism with a focus on sports journalism, and have been covering sports for almost five years and esports for almost two.
To tell you the full truth, I got into journalism late (I chose my major midway through my sophomore year of college). I felt behind compared to my classmates, who were already knee-deep in internships and writing for the school paper. In those five years, I’ve grown as a writer and have used what I’ve learned to teach others in hopes of helping them through my earliest struggles. I’m looking to apply that with ult orb.
I’ll cut to the chase! ult orb, in its essence, is my vision for an esports magazine. Not the tabloids! While VLR and other websites fill the demand for roster movement, rumors, statistics, and other news surrounding the Valorant Champions Tour, I noticed a lack of news covering the actual people who make VCT what it is.
What you’ll see on Ult Orb
On ult orb, I want to see things that humanize the people in Valorant. You can look up the statistics and team histories of players on your go-to websites, which are extremely well-polished and run by teams of people who know what they are doing. Feature stories and Notebooks will look to highlight the people in VCT, with our first story coming later today.
Fans make VCT what it is, too. As we grow, you’ll see columns, deep dives, and even some armchair analytics. While ult orb isn’t yet a well-oiled machine, getting off the ground was made possible thanks to…
Who you’ll see on Ult Orb
Entree has been an independent journalist covering VCT since November 2025, interviewing players, coaches, analysts, and people behind the scenes in VCT. With Ult Orb, you can expect to see written coverage of his interviews. In a few months, I’d love to call this a symbiotic relationship where he can build his written portfolio, and we can rely on his growing experience as an interviewer.
Anaya is one of the most talented people I know currently working in the scene. She’s been working with YFP for close to a year now, first in a social media role and now in a marketing role. I’ve trusted her with the artistic vision for this site, whether it be web design, setting color palettes, or even something as simple as fixing a misaligned header. If there’s anything from ult orb that screams “aesthetically pleasing”, it’s from her.
Niboos is a VCT fanatic like you, if you’re reading this. He has an eye for the game, enjoys playing it, and enjoys watching it. He’s carried me personally in-game countless times, and has been looking to get into writing. When I say I want ult orb to platform people, Niboos is one of the first people that comes to mind. Using the resources and knowledge we have pooled together, creating a platform in which he can express his written, creative vision is the goal for me. And finally…
You? We’re in the early stages of the website, so we’re always looking to grow! Are you the biggest VCT China viewer in the western hemisphere? Hit us up! Do you have an algorithm that can predict who wins a map based solely on comps? Hit us up!
Seriously. If you have a passion for VCT, writing, and think you can write well, reach out to me.
